Housing

With no resources

Earthbag homes are ideal for low-resource areas. All you need are strong bags (like polypropylene sacks) and sand or local soil to fill them. Stack the filled bags like bricks, add barbed wire between layers for stability, and finish with mud or lime plaster for protection. Simple, durable, and low-cost.

The old ways

Cob is made from a natural mix of clay, sand, straw, and water. Apply by hand in layers to build thick, strong walls. No need for bricks or heavy equipment. Cob is cheap, insulating, and great for warm or dry climates.

Underground / aboveground

Underground homes use less land, reduce energy needs, and blend naturally with the environment. They stay cool in summer, warm in winter, and protect against extreme weather. By building below the surface, we reduce our impact on nature and create safer, more sustainable homes for future generations.

The Future Is Ours to Build

This Earth is not owned — it’s shared. If we come together, not as nations or markets, but as equals, we can build a world where every child inherits hope, not debt
